Pauline Bradley,
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Pauline Bradley - supervision
I am an accredited supervisor offering professional supervision, in County Clare, to practicing counsellors and front line staff in service roles.
What is counselling supervision?
"Supervision is a working alliance between a supervisor and a counsellor in which the counsellor can offer an account of her work; reflect on it; receive feedback and, where appropriate, guidance. The object of this alliance is to enable the counsellor to gain in ethical competence, confidence and creativity so as to give her best possible service to her clients" (Inskipp, F & Proctor. B. 1994, 2005).

Our task is to work together to ensure and develop the efficacy of the Counsellor / Client relationship. Supervision is a process to maintain adequate standards of Counselling and a method of consultancy to widen the horizons of the practitioner.
Supervision for other professionals

It is not just counsellors or psychotherapists who can benefit from regular supervision but also any other health care professional or person whose work involves supporting, training or mentoring other people.
